Stephen M. Ross is the Chairman and co-founder of RSE Ventures.

 

In addition, Mr. Ross is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Related Companies.  Mr. Ross formed the company in 1972 and today the company includes over 2,000 professionals. Related has developed over $20 billion in real estate and owns real estate assets valued at over $15 billion made up of best-in-class mixed-use, residential, retail, office, trade show and affordable properties in premier high-barrier-to-entry markets.  Mr. Ross is also the owner of the Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium.

 

Over the years, Mr. Ross has received numerous honors for his business, civic, and philanthropic activities.  Most recently, he was named the Most Powerful Person in New York Real Estate by the New York Observer, Multi-Family Property Executive of the Year by Commercial Property News, and Housing Person of the Year by the National Housing Conference.  He also received The National Building Museum Honor Award, REBNY’s Harry B. Helmsley Distinguished New Yorker Award and the Jack D. Weiler Award from UJA.  Crain’s New York named Mr. Ross one of the 100 Most Influential Leaders in Business and he was recognized by NYC & Company with their Leadership in Tourism Award.

Matt Higgins co-founded RSE Ventures to foster technological innovation and promote change within the sports and entertainment realms.

 

Prior to founding RSE, Mr. Higgins served as an EVP of Business Operations at the New York Jets where he transformed the team’s business operations into one of the most innovative in sports–taking an early leadership role in social media and elevating the team’s profile through non-traditional brand extensions.

 

Prior to his career in sports, Higgins helped lead the recovery effort in Lower Manhattan. He served as the COO of the agency charged with rebuilding the World Trade Center site, the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation. Prior to the LMDC, Higgins served as the youngest ever press secretary of New York City under former Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, managing the City’s global media response to 9/11.

 

In 2011, Higgins was recognized in Sports Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 as one of the most outstanding executives in sports. Four years earlier, Higgins was honored as one of the top 40 executives under 40 in New York by Crain’s New York. Higgins is a proud cancer survivor who has taken up marathon running as a way to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Jennifer O’Sullivan

Jennifer Pogorelec O’Sullivan serves as General Counsel at RSE Ventures.

 

Prior to RSE, O’Sullivan served as the CEO and Commissioner of Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) the highest level women’s professional soccer league in North America. There she led league expansion efforts, extended brand sponsors, and successfully secured the highest level Division 1 pro league sanctioning from the U.S. Soccer Federation. During her tenure, WPS generated profit for the first time in its then three-year history.

 

O’Sullivan previously held the post of Vice President of Legal and Labor Affairs with the Arena Football League (AFL). She also served as the League’s acting General Counsel and led a successful restructuring process that saw the AFL emerge from Chapter 11 reorganization.

 

An attorney with extensive business and leadership experience, O’Sullivan has also held positions at the NFL, Nixon Peabody, and Constituency Management Group.

 

A graduate of the University of Richmond and The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, O’Sullivan is also a member of the National Board of Directors for Women in Sports and Events and the Sports Lawyers’ Association.

As Director of New Business Development, Kerry is responsible for sourcing, reviewing and optimizing new business opportunities for RSE across all of its verticals. Kerry began his career in M&A advisory before working on the investing side for The Omnicom Group. Kerry holds an MBA from Wharton and a degree in economics and music from Washington and Lee University.
